1. Description
Four-jaw self-centering chuck full name is manual four-jaw self-centering chuck for machine tools. It consists of a disc body, four small helical teeth and a pair of jaws. Four-jaw single action chuck has four independent movement of the claws 1, 2, 3 and 4, they can not like three-jaw self-centering chuck claws together for radial movement. The back of the four claws have semi-circular arc thread meshing with the screw, and the top of each screw has square holes for inserting the tenon of the chuck spanner. Turning the chuck spanner, the claw can be driven by the screw to move separately to meet the size of the workpiece held.
Four - jaw self - centering chuck jaw has two kinds of integral jaw and separated jaw. The integral claw is the base claw and the top claw into one of the claw, a pair of integral claw is divided into four positive claw and four anti claw. A pair of detached claws has only four, each consisting of a base claw and a top claw. In addition, soft claw can also be provided according to user requirements, random configuration (grinding) can obtain higher centering accuracy, to meet the clamping requirements.
